This Thursday night was the final class of course 1 and at the end of the evening I was awarded my certification of completion!! YAY!!! I’m super exciting to share with you my rose cake today!!!! This cake is what I did for that class, and I’m super satisfied with this result; even though, they are not as pretty as profession’s.
When we learned “THE ROSE” this week in class, It was awful. I couldn’t remember which way to hold the tip or spin the flower nail and as a result. However, my instructor was super patient and was holding my hand to teach me how to use the tips! Finally, I’ve learned how to make these roses to decorate my cake!
It’s made by strawberry & green tea sponge cakes to add a little color surprise when cutting the cake. Also, I filled oreo cookie pudding between the cake!! (love Oreo!)
Let’s see how I make them first!
Step 1: Baked 2 sponge cakes I divided the batter into 2 pieces & colored them in different colors with different flavorings.
Step2: Put the filling in the center and combine the cakes. Then, you are ready to Ice the cake.
Step 3: Decorate the cake!
Step 4: Ready to serve!
Overall I was really happy with course 1 and the things that I have learned and the progress that I have made!
